The history of the school is replete with historic visits of General Managers of Central Railway. Each event in the landmark developments of this institution is marked by the visit of a GM starting from Shri. K.B. Sankaran 1in 1999. When computer education was beyond the reach of school children in India, such a project was launched which made a unique place in the educational history of India by winning a state First Prize and a National First Prize from honourable President of India. From there it was a turnaround and we never looked behind.
Another land mark was launching a modern Computer Centre after winning Presidential Awards in 2006. This was inaugurated by Shri V.K. Kaul who declared a new School Building meant for Science Education
In 2011 the new science block was inaugurated by Shri Kulbhushan. Science education of this school with best facilities made more than 100 students to reach premier institutes of India like IITs & AIIMs in the recent past.
Shri D.K. Sharma visited the school in 2018 to inaugurate the centenary celebrations of the school. It was his vision that made this campus the top most Green Campus of India by investing in upgrading of relevant infrastructure to meet the standards of IGBC that culminated into IGBC Super Platinum accreditation of the campus. He has a great vision for children's education and got additional sections sanctioned from Railway Board to meet the pressing demands of wards of railwaymen. Shri D.K. Sharma visited the school again in 2019 to launch the new sections and inaugurate the NCC unit of the school. He was kind enough to sanction a centrally airconditioned auditorium with accoustics costing 1.5 crore rupees.
Shri Sanjeev Mittal visited the school in 2021 and inagurated the new Centrally Airconditioned auditorium which is built in total compliance to green standards. A modern Chemistry Lab was also launched on this occasion complying to the standard requirements of the time like sensor based equipments and smart teaching capabilites.
