|
School conducts different cultural activities for the personality development, improvement of creativity and promotion of National Integration. Daily Assembly activities by Students and Teachers, scheduled programmes on various occasions and Annual Day programmes make integral part of cultural activities. Music and Band Classes are provided on optional basis. |

Sports |
|
The School conducts different Sports and Games like Football, Cricket, Hockey, Volley Ball etc. The Railway Administration under the dynamic leadership of DRM Mumbai extends guidance and support for these activities. Seasoned players from Central Railway Team are sent to the School for coaching our students. Our school team has brought many laurels from inter-school and district championships. |

Outdoor Activities |
|
Every year scouts of STD VIII, IX & X attend a two days Teaching and Testing Camp at Matheran. Last year Guides of STDs VIII, IX & X attended one day Teaching and Testing and Entertainment camp at Lonavala. During the festival of Gokulashtami, Scouts renders service at Harerama Harekrishna Mandir at Juhu for last two years. 75 students attended the special programme of glorious celebration of 150 years on Indian Railways. |

Rallies and Jamborees |

Scout and guides attend rallies and Jamborees organized by Railways as well as Bharat Scouts and Guides, NHQS Delhi. 4 guides attended the Xth All Indian Railways Jamboree at Hubli from 11th to 16th Nov 2002. 3 scouts attended the XIVth National Jamboree at Raipur, Chattisgarh. 4 Rovers attended the Rover Ranger Samagam at National Trg, Centre, Pachmari from 18th to 22nd June 2003. |

Rashtrabhasha Examination |
|
The School conduct coaching for Hindi Examination many of our students have won the degree of KOVID. We kept 100% success in the Hindi Examination. |

Scholarship Examination |
|
Our teachers are taking keen interest in coaching the students for Maharashtra Scholarship and Talent search Examinations. This has yielded cent percent results. |

Literary |
|
School publishes a magazine titled PRATIBHA annually to promote the creative writing skills of students. This contains messages from dignitaries, articles on various topics and paintings from students. Pratibha gives a kaleidoscopic view of the various activities conducted by the School. A Quarterly Journal on Campus Life featuring I.T. events is another specialty. This contains articles contributed by students and faculty with latest from the world of information technology. |

KG Education |
|
The need for pre-primary education in order to provide quality input of students was felt genuinely. The Parent Teachers Association has pioneered in this area after getting the required permission from Railway Board. KG section is equipped with qualified and competent teachers to look after the all round development of children. The tiny tots are taken care of and taught in the most natural methods of instruction. |

Computer Literacy |
|
The School Computer Training Centre provides various job-oriented courses like MSCIT, DTP, Tally Training etc. The PTA has opened a special Tailoring class well equipped with necessary infrastructure and competent trainers to teach stitching skills. |

Coaching in Special Subjects |
|
Students appearing for Board Examination are given special computer based tutorials using multimedia educational techniques. CD Roms are made available on all-important subjects and students are given coaching on simulated environment. |

MCC |
|
Promoted by the State Government of Maharashtra, the Maharashtra Cadet Corps has its unit working in our School. Students from standards 8th and 9th participate in MCC on compulsory basis. |

NCC |
|
A proposal for starting an NCC unit is technically sanctioned. After clearance of certain procedures NCC unit will commence in our School. |

Scout & Guide |
|
All students undertake scout and guide activities from standard 1-12. The School has enrolled all the students in Scout & Guide activities giving them a total exposure towards National Integration and Social Responsibilities. Under the initiative our Scouts & Guides the following activities are arranged. |

National Pulse Polio Immunization |
|
Every year whenever this programme is organized our guides renders voluntary service through Rly Hospital Kalyan, at Rly Station, Kalyan. The guides are trained to administers Polio drops to children below 5 years age, CMS, Central Railway Hospital Kalyan is kind enough to issue certificates to encourage such services among guides. |

Charity Fund Raising |
|
Scout and Guides collected an amount of Rs 13,512 /- towards HELPO Foundation, a charity organization of Rural Development Pune. An amount of Rs 1950 /- was collected for National Foundation of Communal Harmony. Rs 800 /- was collected towards Flag Day. |
|
Cleanliness Drive |
|
As a community development project, the school undertakes the task of cleaning and sweeping the platforms of Railway stations. Last year the entire Kalyan Railway Station was cleaned in November. |

Rashtrapathi Puraskar |
|
Rashtrapathi Puraskars is the highest and most prestigious award in Scouting & Guiding Eligible Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers are tested & qualified through National HQS, Delhi. These awards are conferred on them at the hands of our honourable Rashtrapathi, in a rally held at Rashtrapathi Bhavan Delhi. Indian Railways has provided a special privilege facility for such awardees. Each zone is given a limited Quota for extra weightage for selection of outstanding Rashtrapathi awardees for recruitment of Class III & IV Railways services. So far nearly 15 ex-students of our school are recruited on this basis and presently working in various offices in Central Railway. Last year four scouts were qualified for Rashtrapathi Award. A few of our Scout & Guides remain active in the movement through open groups even after passing S.S.C from school. |

Social |
|
Students are encouraged to take part in community development programmes. Students have helped many organizations working among less privileged sections of the society like blind, lepers and physically challenged by helping the though fund raising. |

PTA Activities |
|
Parent Teachers Association is an integral part of the School Family. Ever since the commencement of PTA in March 1999 the School found PTA as a responsible body acting in co-ordination with the Railway Administration for the over all development of the School. Many innovative projects which were difficult to implement otherwise found its life and success with the initiative and visionary outlook of PTA. |

Scholarships |
|
PTA extends financial help to deserving students every year. The most eligible students are identified with the help of Class Teachers and scholarship is extended to cover the cost of their studies. |
